Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is one of the oldest  healing treatments in the world. It's origins began in China 3000 years ago and in today's modern world is now recognized as a valuable medical treatment.

  •  Qi is the energy force traveling through the body on highways or paths called meridians.
  • This vital flow of energy can become blocked leading to pain and disease.
  •  Acupuncture uses  needles, pressure, heat  and massage at targeted meridian points on the body to unblock and release the flow of qi so the body can heal itself.

What methods are used at the clinic?

  • Five Elements
  • Traditional Chinese Method
  • Electro-Acupuncture
  • Scalp Acupuncture - a modern technique that combines Traditional Chinese Medicine needling methods with Western medical knowledge of the cerebral cortex.

Does Acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture rarely hurts as the needles are very fine.  Some people can experience mild sensations or slight discomfort depending on the treatment involved.

After consultation and diagnosis, various needles and therapies can be combined for a more personal  and effective treatment plan.

What is Micro-needling?

It has been the beauty secret of ancient Empresses,  Cleopatra and beautiful women through time.  Micro-needling is one of the oldest beauty rituals in the world but it comes back to the future with modern techniques.

  •  This collagen-induction therapy uses a device with fine needles to  produce micro-injuries stimulating the body's natural healing process to reveal beautiful skin.
  • Experience the luxury of hand-crafted,  customized all-natural essences for your skin and luxurious neuro-cosmetic serums designed for beauty and spirit.
  • Minimally invasive means minimal downtime.  Patients should expect some redness and swelling.
  •  Touch up treatments can include  Celluma light therapy, Facial Acupuncture and a Collagen mask.

What is Micro-current Therapy?

  •  Used in conjunction with Micro-needling for the face and used alone for hair restoration.
  • Our devices use the new technology of MTX stamp and micro-needle, the LED red light and 650 nanometer micro-current wave lengths that emit 8000 vibrations per minute with quick absorption into the skin eliminating the need for anesthetic cream.
  • ZERO downtime

How you treat your skin after treatments will determine the rejuvenation process so it's important to follow after-care guidelines.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

This natural way of healing recognizes the  inseparable relationship of body, mind, spirit and nature.   There is great value in targeting acupuncture points quickly and adding herbal combinations.  One of the four key principles to Traditional Chinese Medicine is that  everyone was born with a natural, self-healing ability and that prevention is the best cure.
